what is warrior about?
I have been a cancer survivor for 19 years. I was diagnosed in july 2007 while i was working as an anchor reporter at wsb-tv (abc) in atlanta, ga. I’d found my lump during a regular shower, which I later learned was a tumor, and that meant breast cancer. I had just turned 36 years old in may. a medical official called me while i was at work with the news. the medical professional said, “you have infiltrating ductal carcinoma.” I said, “what the hell is that?” He said “you have breast cancer” and after I fell apart, i knew then, that the battle was on!
Warrior is about fighting battles. I fought breast cancer, but that hasn’t been my ony battle, but it was one of the hardest. We all have them. there are time you might not feel strong or brave but you are!
